SOLV3 Engineering Ltd. was founded by three like-minded aerospace engineers following a successful collaboration, winning the top prize at the NASA HeroX challenge.
The directors share a common interest in using modern technology, simulation tools and optimisation techniques to improve and automate current design processes. They each bring matching and complementary skills to the company, allowing us to cover a wide range of industries and applications.
SOLV3 offers Engineering Consultancy (Design, Analysis, Methods Development) and Training (General engineering methods, tools and industry specifics). With our offering we are confident we can support all your product, methodology and professional development needs.
Meet the directors
Aaron Latty has been working in industry since 1996 being involved in aircraft structural design, systems engineering, aircraft design, finite element analysis and lecturing and supervising at postgraduate level. He holds a master of science in Computational and Software Techniques from Cranfield University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. Aaron has held positions at Lockheed Martin (F-16), Messier-Dowty (Airbus A340), AirbusUK (Airbus A380), Marshall Aerospace (Boeing 737) and also as a consultant across industries including motorsport, automotive, civil/structural, offshore among others. He has strong specialization in aircraft structural design and finite element analysis but as a design engineer, he has a wide range of experience and an appreciation across disciplines.
Dávid Sziroczák earned a PhD in Aircraft design from Cranfield University. He has also worked as a consultant and in the premium automotive industry, and has significant experience in electric powertrain design and analysis. He is a certified simulation expert. Currently he is teaching aircraft design, simulation, design automation and optimisation at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
György Bicsák holds a PhD in numerical methods based small aircraft design support tools, a master of science in Aircraft Systems and a bachelor of science in Transport Engineering. He works in the aerospace industry as aircraft maintenance instructor and currently teaches numerical methods and optimisation, aircraft systems, applied engineering mathematics and computational fluid dynamics at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Aircraft Systems.
